Shivani has been following her mother’s footsteps and learning Bharatnatyam since the age of 7 years. She has proved herself to be a quick learner and uses her expressions effectively to transform the dance to a soulful and lively performance that captures the audience attention from beginning to end of the dance concert.
She has successfully finished her salangai puja under the guidance of her mother in June 2013.
She has won critical acclaim for her performances in international venues such as the prestigious Queensland Multicultural Centre and Brisbane City Hall. She has accompanied her mother to all major dance performances and has been able to captivate audience attention with her lively feats on the stage.
She also helps her mother Padmalakshmi in running the dance academy and setting higher standards of excellence in the prestigious Bharatnatyam dance form.
