I write to express my strong support for the Lalitha Kalalaya School of Bharatanatyam, which teaches a form of traditional classical dance originating from the Tamil Nadu province of India.

LALITHAKALALAYA School of Bharatanatyam organized “Shakti the Primordial Cosmic Energy” again on 9th November at SunPAC with the support of Lord Mayor’s Community Fund and Cr. Steven Huang Macgregor Ward.

Lalitha Kalalaya School of Bharatanatyam organized Salangai pooja on 3rd November at Acacia Ridge State School Auditorium, Brisbane. It was an important landmark for students learning Bharatanatyam.

It was the 5th annual concert of Lalitha Kalalaya School of Bharatanatyam, which saw over 100 students perform in groups on an array of 23 songs.

The Salangai pooja 2018 held on 3rd November conducted by Lalithakalalaya School of Bharatanatyam in Brisbane was a grand success.

GURU Smt Padamalakshhmi Sriram and her disciples presented a well-choreographed classical dance-based presentation of India’s freedom movement on 28 August. This production was a result of their inherent desire to express India’s inspiring journey towards its independence through the beautiful medium of Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form.

LED by Guru Padmalakshmi Sriram, the 4th annual concert held on 2nd July of her dance school Lalitha Kalalaya, saw over 78 students perform to 20 different songs on the theme – “Sarvam Sarvamayam, the cosmic dance of the Universe”.
